KARMA

- How to release karma -

Karma is an action one performs that will eventually come back around to them. One's karma could be good or bad karma there could either be a negative or positive situation that is the outcome of one's actions. What happens to a person happens because they caused it themselves. Karma is the law of cause and effect. Whatever goes around, comes around. Our past lives affect the karma in this life. If one created bad karma in their past life, it will create suffering in this lifetime. Karma is the garbage and the baggage that we carry through different lifetimes. Depending on one's karma, a soul is born into a particular "social group" either

as a reward or punishment for actions in their past lives. If you do not work the karma out, you will have to come back and do life all over again.

Dharma is a concept that is in many spiritual philosophies. Dharma can refer to a personal mission or purpose. It is the cosmic law of order, and an individual's duty or law of nature. It is said that if an individual is following their dharma, they are pursuing their truest calling and serving all other beings in the Universe by playing their true role. Dharma frequently refers to the Buddha teachings on liberation. The teaching called the "Four Noble Truths" states that there are suffering and dissatisfaction in the world. That there is a cause/reason as to why we suffer, that suffering is temporary, and can end; and that there is a path to end suffering. Dharma is realized through practices such as letting go of attachment. It is considered the very means by which one transcends suffering and the cycle of birth or death (samsara).

Samsara is the endless cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, also known as "suffering" or "dissatisfaction." Further, known as the miserable reincarnation, into the material world. We have to come back if we have not learned all the lessons and to grow as souls. We can relate this to school - if we fail in one grade, we have to repeat the grade till we pass it. Then we move on to the next level in our growth. To escape from samsara, one should let go of fear, reach Nirvana, have a feeling of oneness (non-duality), and through meditation.

The best way to get rid of karma is through forgiveness and letting go. Forgiveness is the conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or revenge toward a person or group who has harmed you or yourself. Not forgiving makes us relive the wrong that was done to us, keeping us living in the past. Releasing karma will free one from samsara. The first thing to do to release karma is by recognizing the lessons from certain situations. These lessons might be the same lesson that just repeated throughout different relationships or all different lessons to be learned. Learn these lessons, so they do not have to be repeated and you can move past them. After you have learned the lessons, you can then forgive yourself and the people/group for what they have done to you. We can forgive these people and ourselves by doing guided meditations. One can also take time to imagine them in front of you (mentally, so you do not have to do it face to face) and let them go by imagining ripping a soul contract between your soul and theirs. If you do this daily, eventually, you will feel a significant release. Every day one can discipline themselves, to have a good attitude, so they create good-not-bad karma.

Karma should be released to evolve as souls to the next level. Hopefully, this gave you a good insight towards releasing karma and more on what it is and dharma. I think releasing karma is very important so that one does not have to reincarnate into suffering again. Forgiving others is also very beneficial for one to feel free and not hold on to things.
