TREE OF LIFE
The tree of life can be seen as a large tree with roots that spread deep into the ground. The branches spread high up outward to the sky. This tree represents the interconnection of nature and all things in the universe. It symbolizes togetherness and represents uniqueness. It can also be a symbol of strength and growth. Trees are grounded and stable with their roots in the soil, which symbolizes strength. Trees also start small and eventually grow into beautiful giant trees, this symbolizes growth. The human placenta looks like the tree of life, as well as the lungs of a human looking like a tree branch. It symbolizes many more deep meanings and is a beautiful spiritual symbol.
YIN-YANG
This symbol holds its roots in Taoism - a Chinese religion and philosophy. It symbolizes a balance of dark and light, and masculine and feminine. It shows two halves that together complete wholeness. The black side is yin - the feminine side. The black side represents the moon, death, and is internal. The white side is yang - the masculine side. This side represents the sun, life, and is external. These two opposite energies create harmony within the universe. This yin-yang symbol shows how the universe is governed by a cosmic duality. It depicts how there cannot be a shadow without light, showing that they coexist. The yin-yang is very important and possesses many deep hidden meanings.
SACRED LOTUS FLOWER
The Lotus flower can be seen in many different cultures and can be a symbol of enlightenment, purity, and rebirth. The Lotus blooms out of the darkest, muddiest waters. This can symbolize blossoming out of the darkness and being reborn again. The Lotus also has a life cycle, unlike any other plant. In Buddhism, a White Lotus symbolizes purity, whereas a Yellow Lotus is associated with ascension. The mud the Lotus blooms out of can represent suffering, while the flower symbolizes the journey. The Lotus has many meanings within different religions.
OM
'Om' is a sacred word/sound that brings about an expansion of our energy. It is a sound of the universe and it unifies everything within it. It is all-encompassing and includes ahhh, oooo, and mmm. It is chanting by those who use it and is frequently used in meditation. The physical symbol of om represents five states of consciousness. This sacred symbol brings us closer to our Soul and Higher Self.
FLOWER OF LIFE
Includes a series of overlapping circles. A representation of the connection with all living things in the universe. Also believed to represent the cycle of creation. It reveals how all life comes from ONE Source, which is represented by the circle in the middle of the pattern. It reminds us of the unity of everything. It is believed to contain a type of Akashic Record symbolization.
